Mass Effect 2 is an action-packed role-playing video game created by BioWare, and released by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to Mass Effect, and is the second game in the franchise. Like its predecessor, the second part also became a commercial and critical success. Mass Effect 2 was released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms.
In this version of the game, commander Shepard is killed in an ambush by aliens known as the collectors. Shepard is the main character in the game, and is brought to life after two years by an organization known as Cerberus.
The Walkthrough
Every mission included in this chapter is designed to put Shepard in dangerous and critical situations. You would need to fight a group of enemies and hostile creatures to complete your mission. It depends upon which class you choose; after choosing your class you get a pistol, shotgun, sniper rifle, battle rifle, or a heavy weapon. As you advance your levels, you can train yourself and your team members for future battles. Press LB to check your ability and RB to see your weapon screen. Always make sure you take cover while fighting enemies. Shepard loses his health as soon as he is exposed to enemy fire.
Cheats
Renegade Points: If you want to gain extra renegade, bonus, and experience points, start a new game in Mass Effect 2 using a profile from the first version.
Bonus Paragon: While you’re in the middle of conversations look for a prompt in the left area of the screen at the top. When you see wings, press LT for extra paragon points, and when a star appears, press RT for extra renegade points.
Double Hacking Rewards: After you complete a hacking mini-game for credits, press A again and again as the window closes. This causes the game to shut out and lets you hack for a second time. This rarely works, but if you desperately want some hacking rewards, then keep on trying.
Geth Pulse Rifle: This rifle can only be found in hardcore or some serious insane difficulties. During the recruitment mission for tali, look for the geth pulse rifle in the same room in which you found tali. You will find it on the ground next to a destroyed geth.
Infinite YMIR Mechs: When you reach the Freedom Progress mission, you are told to place your teammates near the giant blast door; that’s when you can cheat the game into making some extra YMIR mechs. Get in the position, and you will be confronted by a giant YMIR mech. Don’t kill it, head back to the blast door. This will cause the game to go back to the blast door scene again. Again position your team near the blast door and you will see an extra YMIR mech. You can repeat this step as many times you want.
Max Out Skill Points: To achieve this you will need to dominate skill, retrain powers, and advanced training upgrades. You will need to sacrifice Samara’s daughter in her own loyalty mission. Purchase advanced training and choose dominate. You will get a bonus skill point; use it by instituting a refrain powers upgrade.

- When you save your crew from an attack, you get the Missing In Action achievement worth 5 points.
