Searching for the best N64 games, you have landed at the right article. The Nintendo 64 or N64 as it is popularly known was one of the best selling game consoles in Asia and the US. So let’s jog down memory lane and have a look at some of the best Nintendo 64 games.
N64 or Nintendo 64 is the third game console from the world famous gaming company Nintendo. Launched in June 1996, it was one of the fastest selling video game consoles from Nintendo. The N64 was also the last home console to use the Game Paks system to store video games. The N64 was launched with two games Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64.
The N64 was considered as one of the most stylish game consoles in the market as it was released in at least 8 variants with different colors and sizes. When you speak about the fifth generation (32 bit era), of all the options Nintendo 64 was the best and the most technologically advanced video gaming console. Other than the Nintendo Wii which created a storm in the gaming world, only N64 and Nintendo DS were considered the top quality gaming consoles. In this article we list out the best N64 games in the market.
Best Nintendo 64 Games
These are the best choices in my opinion, everything about these games were brilliant. Obviously they cannot be compared with the leading gaming technology that we have now but when these games were introduced they dominated the video gaming market for many years.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
If there was ever a list of top 10 best video games of all time, then Zelda would definitely come in top 5. The Zelda series was one of the best action adventure games of all time. The plot had intense battles, tougher dungeons, loads of amazing missions and awesome effects. In N64, Link could ride a horse and a better target system was used for better accuracy. This game also had new moves and strong sword attacks which was not possible in previous games. With so many things to do and lots of adventures to do, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the best N64 games of all time.
Star Fox 64
Considered as one of the most popular video games in the Star Fox series. Star Fox 64 was the game that was the first one to use Rumble Pak, a device that vibrates at different moments. In addition to this marvelous new feature, the games also had multiple missions and various routes to undertake amazing multiplayer battles.
Conker’s Bad Fur Day
He is raunchy, crude and in most cases disgusting as he pees on running flames and fights with teddy bears. Even with all this anti-hero traits Rare’s Conker’s Bad Fur Day was one of the most loved animated game characters.
Sin & Punishment
According to me Sin & Punishment was one of the best video games of all time. However, it is very unfortunate that most players outside Japan never got a chance to play it. This game was an obsession for gamers and the game was imported especially by hardcore gamers and the people who could afford to spend money. Sin & Punishment is filled with high energy action that keeps you wanting for more. Your character is armed with a gun and a sword and covers its path by jump, over jump and roll to avoid and destroy various enemies coming in your path. Truly an action packed game that is going to make you dizzy with joy.
